Description
This is another model I've had for several years, and had not used. It's a well functioning freebie. In 1961, Chevrolet Created a concept car called the Mako Shark Corvette. In 1962, Chevrolet produced a Corvette, and a Corvette Stingray. Both had rear ends similar to the concept Mako Shark car. The '62 Corvette's front end was the same as the 1961. The '62 Stingray was similar to the front of the Mako. Initially, people began to call the Stingray a 'shark nose' Corvette. So, welcome to Shark Week. I wanted to give this '65 a Mako color scheme, but the UV did not easily cooperate. Perhaps next year I'll redo the UV and morph the front end.

Thanks, Richard. Your photo of the junk yard Nash gave me an idea for another auto image down the road.

C'est une idée peu banale sur ce site que de rendre hommage aux freebies. Great pic !

I understand. It's more that I wanted to applaud those who spend so much of their time freely giving to the community. Their work can help create good images, too. Thank you for your kind words.
Je comprends. C'est plus que je voulais applaudir ceux qui passent tant de temps à donner gratuitement à la communauté. Leur travail peut aussi aider à créer de bonnes images. Je vous remercie pour vos aimables paroles.

Whether an artist chooses to sell or give their work, the time, effort and artistry required to produce, assemble files and upload them is the same. I truly appreciate the generosity of those who have given. I hope to do the same. Thank you for your kind words and work.

I think maybe we should all credit freebies more. There was a time in the early years of Poser when the community survived mostly on freebies.

"Thank goodness there is a free 'Old Phone.' I don't have to make one. Yea!" I have wanted to upload a few of my creations, but none of them are actually finished. They are finished to the point I could use them in a render, but not completed. So, I give a big 'thumbs up' to those who can finish and upload.

Very beautiful for you to come by and comment. Was a time when the average person could afford these older cars, At least we can have them digitally.

Dang it.... zaqxsw stole the line I was going to use... Oh, well.... 😄
Really excellent work on this, my friend! I almost bought one of those back in 1972 when I was in San Antonio. The car, I mean.. Probably a good thing I didn't LOL

Would o' been OK. My memory isn't that good.
Thanks. In 1972, I almost bought a '65 XKE. Probably good thing I didn't, too. I'd have probably rolled it back then.
