Description
I've had this Peugeot model for several years, and had not used it. It's a well functioning freebie. When I came across a photo
from the '50's of Brigitte Bardot sitting on the fender of a Simca, I remembered the '53 403. The scene is constructed mostly with
freebies.

Simply beautiful!
styletx
Thank you. The IRL beauty can be found doing an internet photo search for 'Simca Bardot.'

Sexy and beautiful! The girl, too!

When my daughter saw the car, she said, "Please, Daddy, find one!" The only somewhat affordable ones are in Europe, and with transportation and import duties, they are beyond her families means; even if I helped.

very impressive pose and a gorgeous babe. the free car rocks also

When I saw a recent freebie car image of yours, a light bulb went off in my head; remembering a freebie I had never rendered. I had not even put it in my 'Runtime.' I was about to give up looking for it - then there it was in a 2014 download file. Poser format, but one click to DAZ.

Great interpretation of that classic photo.
I do understand what you mean. Over here we have easy access to these cars, both in the UK and mainland Europe.
It's the other way round for me, I'd love to have access to all the cars you have there in the US.

Thank you. What we call, 'Soon to be Classics,' or 'Marginal Classics,' are Soooo affordable for us, here. Shipping and duties more than double or triple their costs. You have to really want the vehicle or have an accurate vision of future value to make it worthwhile. But if you then sell it, you no longer have it. Catch 22.

I remember that shot of Bardot - you nailed it, my friend! There are a lot of great freebies out there, and you've certainly made good use of them here!
Archive 3D is a good source of freebies - I've got a ton of stuff from there. Some things work fine others are a little sketchy. Their cars are usually pretty decent. They aren't rigged or anything, and they're 3ds format, but I think they will import into DAZ. I know they do in Poser. But they're great for things like this.
styletx
Thanks for your comment and Archive 3D tip. I don't remember being there. 3ds is easy to convert to .obj if there is no other way. I agree many freebies can be sketchy. I TRY to follow a flexible rule I learned in as Rendo chat room; "Don't spend more than 30 minutes making a freebie work." Sometimes the weeks of time needed to create a prop or figure justify many hours of work with that freebie. I am new to DAZ with about 12 years of playing with Poser; and believe both programs are necessary.

great pose nice color for the car
styletx
Thanks. The oldest color chart I could find for the Peugeot was 1955. They had an Emerald Green which was a bit darker with a little more yellow. I went with the Horizon Blue I made from the Edsel chart. It has that '50s feel.

Thanks for using my stuff in so talentuous way. Great pic !
styletx
You are very welcome. It is a good model from a past era. It's quality made my job easier.
