Description

Yes, it is really. Flying Bulls have a large collection and a custom built museum, this is their pride and joy. One of very few fully operational DC-6's left airworthy. And yes it sounded beautiful...... (They ran the engines up next to where I stood. Imagine.......) Rob

This is a credit to the man who later made the Super DC-8's with the CFM-56 engines. I once parked in his Presidents parking spot very early in the morning to get a signature on the "Nightingale" proposal.

Man, cool photo. I have a faint memory of this plane from way back in the 1950s. It was impressive then, and still is! Keep up the good work! :-)

Odd, this aircraft is unfamiliar to me. Otherwise, a fine capture.

I remember seeing a DC-6 at Midway Airport when I was a boy. This is another super shot, Rob.
