another pure fairy tale scene, creating a whole story without actually giving a story. The woman is straight out of a folktale, and has a bit of "Eve" in her (from "adam and eve") (ie, with the red apple), and I love her gold and near-white hair as contrast to her golden earth-toned skin (with red undertones). She's a fairy, which makes her all the more magical. Then there's the giant horse head---which seems gigantic, next to the diminutive visitor. It's quite mysterious and even spooky, that gigantic white head: pure fairy tale stuff! And you have a moon and an old wooden structure---maybe a home, a barn, a small chapel? These don't really need explanation, they feel complete in and of themselves...but they sure do tell a tale; and what's wonderful is that we're left to supply the backstory. Another wonderful packed piece from you. And I guess you could say that that fairy is having the opposite of a 'bad hair day'...(I wouldn't mind hair like that...mine's silver and thin and won't stay down if I threaten it)
