They will drop early this year with the drought.

It does look rather poignant next to the dead leaves. The last survivor.

I'm only back for a few in each gallery this time around, but since I've missed your gallery for a while, I'm making an exception; and it's always a pleasure to sit with your art at length. The sole apple and pair of leaves make a duo---with real contrast and ornery 'opposition' (like the leaves are saying, "I can dominate this shot every bit as much as you, even if I am wrinkled...). Love the deep shadow and bokeh on everything but that front top branch (delivering the apple and leaves into the shot). And the stars of the shot come down from on high. Delightful composition choice, and a very moody shot as well. Always wonderful to be here in this unique, beautiful, and very intense and yet playful gallery, Nikolay, and I hope this finds you well. Thank you for your wonderful comments; and I love Bill Evans, and listened to him over and over through my life. I'm glad to hear you love him too. He left us too early...he was a great poet...

Still some fruit left on the trees here - but for how long? Splendid image!
