Description
Earth Lightning is a character my best friend made for my long running Champions/Mutants and Mastermind game. He is a hero's hero, but off screen, speaks about him as if he is a braggart of the worst sort. The pinnacle of this is the Earth Lightning Chronicles, which has been an epic 1000 hour documentary, a multi-volume book, and a tiny pamphlet (the latter when I feel like deflating (Fan Fiction) Earth Lightning's ego. This sort of banter entertains us for no reason beyond that we are adult children.
The cover evolved from the fact that he broke birthday protocol and bought me a an awesome top of the line Nvidia GTX 1080 Video Card for rendering and gaming. Normally we are impossible to gift for because neither us wants or needs anything. He got lucky. So I figured I would give him the one thing he could not have without me, namely the cover of an actual comic.
Hope you enjoy it.

Yeah, giving art that others like is a great gift. You packed this with all kinds of action, the main character (I assume that's Earth Lightning) dominates the shot like a hovering protector figure; and the others are either jutting forward themselves or staring at him. The turned-over bicycles add perfectly to the feeling of whooshing movement, and that looming truck (that's a big truck!) cuts a fierce figure. Strong action cover, and fine use of looming shadow and highlights...
