My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I know the feeling, I don't post here now but I do have an occasional look to see what my old friends are up to. Good luck to you and Bill Tara. Might see you on Flikr but I don't post a lot there either. My main site is Ipernity. Lots of love and thank you for your kind comments in the past.

Sorry to see you go, Tara, but you must do what you feel is right for you. Your photos have been an inspiration and a light in the dark. This one is a perfect example of your wonderful work.
Jo and I look forward to seeing you in a couple months.

Odd that on the day I return I find you are leaving. Seems life just gets in the way sometimes. After my injury last Year I’ve been struggling to relearn how to hold my camera. Adapting to old age is not for the weak! I wish you and Bill all the best. And I will take a look at your other page as I’ve always enjoyed your work. And I’ve certainly enjoyed your support as I ventured into the photography world. Thank you for that. All the best to you.

Yep, time marches on and sometimes we have to leave things behind. I look here once in a while, but it's just not the same. I'm glad I saw this post and even gladder that we can still stay in touch other ways!!

This is sad to see and a terrible loss. You have been such an inspiration to so many. I would never have written so many stories without your selfless support, you helped me make a dream come true. I truly wish the best future and many more adventures for you. Good luck where ever you go. I think a book should never have the words 'The end' written on the final page. I think the story should always have the promise that it may continue. So, I won't say goodbye, I'll just say...

When my cat died my mother put everything into perspective when she simply said, "Everything dies." Still, the last eighteen months have been one loss after another. Renderosity has been like a college shared apartment. One by one people have left. At least we know where you have moved and have the opportunity to keep in touch. You are correct, this is a perfect image for this occasion. Maybe, if I get my crap together, I'll be on the road this Spring and we can visit. Until then I'll see you on flickr.

This is a beautiful post Tara, but a sad message. By and large I agree with you though. I am glad that we keep in touch anyway.

So sad, I see you are leaving, Tara who was one of my bench marks in photography! You need a break, perhaps new friends and you need to feel free, so I say thank you for all wonderful posts and comments, take care of you and Bill and my best wishes for your future Tara!
