Description

It was in the 13th century that Vouvant surrounded himself with a defence system comprising the ramparts and about thirty towers. The fortifications are still very well preserved both in the public and private domain. C’est au XIIIème siècle que Vouvant va s’entourer d’un système de défense comportant les remparts et une trentaine de tours. Les fortifications sont encore fort bien conservées tant sur le domaine public que privé.
