Description

Down the stairs and directly below the Purser's Lounge we enter the Passengers' Dining Lounge and are looking at a model of the SS SAVANAH mounted in a glass case. Several things that grabbed my eye were the informality of the seating and tables. Well, passengers were not the main revenue stream here and this is really not bad. The lights are peculiar until one realizes that they are representations of atoms with all the swirling bits providing the grillwork. Overall the effect is not grand but intimate.
