Ok, so a sun's setting over a sunset...it could happen...
This is Lake Michigan after a particularly spicy meal; and since I have no new photos of the Fall, I thought I'd throw up a shot that'd gave your rods and cones a play for their money.
I'm finally commenting now, and I'll get to you all before I step away again. Thank you all so much for your very loving responses to my memorial; and for your very loving responses, period. I appreciate them all.
Oh, and my following upload is the original this was taken from. (You don't have to comment.) As you can see, it wasn't "saner," just smaller.
(This is reeeeeeallllly red, ya know that? Sometimes a color just gets away from you...)
I hope you're all having a splendid October! Have a fine Wednesday all, m
(believe it or not, this is 6 blocks from my home)

this is a wonderful example of how your mind works. Love the effect you achieved. Now if we could only see a sunset like this in real life.

awesome and hot on a cold day, here. I love the fire reds in this and that solid dark spot like a mountain on the right to off-set the fluffy white trees on the left. the turbulent clouds are opposite the calm water. the balance of this piece is superb.

I've seen some colorful sunsets in my years, but DANG! This is reeeeeeally colorful! I had some friends many years ago that were always seeing sunsets like this - and the sun didn't even have to be on this side of the planet... ððĪŠ
I love the wonderful way you take these images and transport them to your wonderful world of fun and frolic - and colors! Sweet work, Mark!

Very beautiful work.

Love the high and sharp contrast in those drastic reds, blues, whites. Suggests a bright comet that decided to temporarily suspend its travel through space and just stop and observe the Lake Michigan scene. If this is typical of your neighborhood, Mark, then you must exist in some bizarre universe. After this, my rods and cones need replacing.

Fall was always my favorite season, with the colors on the leaves, the perfect temperatures, and so many fairs and festivals to attend.
