You have done it again, Nikolay, it literally takes my breath away... [must be the cold wind blowing there] but jokes aside; this must have been your intention to show the temperatures dropping in your part of the world. You did well indeed, it sums up everything, that the winter month promises, a few lines here and a few brushstrokes there and occasionally the snow is looking downright dirty - which adds to the atmosphere of your composition. Brilliant work - I love it !

Thanks very much, Britka!

The tilt here is very expressive. The foreground is all white, with patches of gray, etc. And it makes a "pedestal" for the buildings and dog walkers. You use blacks and whites very effectively in your work, where blacks can obliterate some detail, but the blacks never interfere with expression: They make your shadows powerful statements.
The institutional architecture frames the upper portion of the image, and then we have all white again: Lots of white is framing that midsection of buildings w/ a few people strolling. It's a snippet of the world framed and encased by snow and cold. And your blacks almost say "defiance," as those people make their 'statement' through all the cold and snow. Terrifically expressive treatment, Nikolay.
