Description
"We promised to treasure every remaining moment we had left together.
"We went to the beach that day, and watched the sun set. It was but a moment in the many thousands of moments we had spent together, but we recognized it for what it was: precious and not to be taken for granted.
"We affirmed our love, and our faith, our belief that death is but a passage, and that while it might soon separate us, it would not keep us apart for all that long. We would soon be together again.
"We clung to that thought and to one another, praying for strength to face the coming storm."

What a sad image and text. You really captured their emotion, and their love. The little details like his kiss and the slope of her shoulders as she leans into him (standing upright, trying to be strong)... they convey love, loss and a depth of emotion I seldom see here. This is a very compelling scene – thank you for sharing this glimpse into their world.
