I'm what you might call a professional traveler. I've lived in Munich, New York, Sao Paulo, Warsaw and now Washington DC.
I'm also a crime fiction writer with several published novels. I originally started using Poser because I wanted to do character studies, but then, before I knew it, I was hooked. I fell in love with 3D graphics. My interests were initially in doing pictures that focused on the 1920s, but now I love fantasy also.
I can't post as many pictures as I'd like -- I work slowly and don't seem to have much success, but I post when I can and I'm very grateful for all the supportive comments you have given me over the years. I've learned a lot from this community and I continue to be amazed and thrilled with the generosity, creativity and passion I see demonstrated toward one another over and over again.
Thank you!

I love, love, love the statues from Daz, and I've been itching to play with them. You did a very nice job showcasing the elegance and beauty of the statue. Nice placement of the light so we can appreciate that cool translucent texture in the fan. The addition of the roses is a clever prop placement, especially since it brings in the pink tones from the wall and unifies the scene's composition. We do have a problem with the roses, though (especially the one up front), but this is really caused by the prop and not your use of it. The rose petals are too stiff – they look like plastic because they are not flattened under the weight of the flower, but are supporting the bud. Fresh roses just aren't that stiff; the petals would lie flatter. Again, this isn't really on you: it's the flower prop itself. I suppose you could mitigate this by pulling the flower forward and having the flower stick over the edge of the mantle and lowering the stem so that it's level with the flat surface... just a thought. Thanks for sharing this beautiful little scene with us.

Thanks for the comments. There's a rose here, by Nirvy, I think that has flattening morphs, but I think it's for Poser. I suppose I could experiment with using dForce for the Daz rose. It was indeed a bit of a task to get it to cooperate. Hmmm. Anyway, yes, I love the Art Deco sets. They're stunning.
