Description
purchased by Lewis Air Legends of Texas Lockheed VC-121A Constellation Bataan plane had been flown to the Planes of Fame Arizona location to be restored to flying condition . I took this picture there. recently the pilot of a WWII bomber at the recent air show here that is based out of California told me it was being restored when I asked him about the plane

I went to my doctor today and got a shot that will hopefully get rid of my allergy. I have very little appetite. I hope it will return soon as eating is one of my favorite things to do.
maybe tomorrow I might feel better. my doctor told me that Christmas trees are releasing lots of allergy causing problems. I personally have not had a real tree in 48 years. I see no use for them or purpose. the artificial makes far more sense

Great shot of this magnificent Connie, Richard! Hope the shot makes you feel better soon, and your appetite returns. That's one of my favorite activities, too - but I sure can't eat the way I used to. If I try, I pay for it all evening!

Super Connie with enormous dimension at time, love the point of view! Happy Christmas and hope you and the tree feel good together! :-) best priska

I totally agree with you about the tree Richard. We've had the same 7' tree since 2002, the same year we visited Dallas and bought loads of American ornaments (Made in China mostly) at Grapevine Mall and have just added very select additions and updated lights together with some finer decorations, but the core of the tree is still the original ornaments and it's "timeless" in it's consistency. Nice plane and POV Sir!

Fantastic plane!
Good luck getting rid of your allergy! I prefer a fiber optic Christmas Tree. No fuss & so beautiful!

Really beautiful airplane! your use of wide angle is great! I hope you feel good soon. We have the same tree since we get married in 1985, but we change ornaments and lights, so looks like brand new every year!

I hope your health is good, Richard, I know you've had some problems, and not being able to eat during the holidays can be rough. Also, allergies can be a lot more debilitating than people realize...As for the shot, it's a real spectacle: I love the angle, and the sweep you got. And, full size, the hues and lines are so clear. I love the feel of this: You captured the long sweep of it, the dominating way it takes over the ground. And that muddy sky almost 'closes the plane in'. I love the deep red gravel too, as contrast. I really love this shot!
Richard, I'm at almost an hour, and I have to visit other galleries before I step away again, so I have to stop now. (There are numerous other images in your gallery that I could gladly comment on, believe me.) It's always a pleasure, I love walking around inside your expert inner eye...I wish you a fine and healthy New Year!

Great shot of this classic 'liner. Great work on the wide angle and diagonal framing to show off her lines. Excellent work!
