Description
How rapidly the weather can change. Two shots, the top taken in the very early morning on 12/19/18 and the bottom 2/21/18, captured from the same spot.

That's quite a difference! Great pair of shots.

Interesting on how the contrasting differences can change. To think, these photos were taken almost in my backyard. Well done captures and postwork !

Great pair of contrasting photos! The rails disappearing into the sun and the fog really pull you into the image. Great shots, both of them.

oh man, these are RR shots. I love the top, the way the sun just eats up the tracks. And the desolation on either side. One would think LA was an abandoned town, from your track shots. (I know that there are living buildings on the other side, but from this side, it looks like an abandoned industrial town...) Sweet light on the wood too.
The fog shot is equally powerful, eaten up by that thick fog. I love the fog you capture in LA---people out here never associate LA with fog: We associate it with endless sunshine (and now, drought). But you've captured a slew of fog shots, and they're all very atmospheric and mysterious. This is a world eaten alive by fog...a great contrast to the top one. Love the pairing.

The upper railway that leads into the sun is spectacular.
