wow, it's been a long time since you posted pure pencil drawings...I always thought your face-drawings showed real courage. And I don't know if I can explain that...but you show such deep emotions in your many face drawings, and very intimate emotions...as if these faces appeared to you, even across a street, to tell you something mysterious and deep. These two people seem half "here" and half in another realm...And I love that parts of their faces aren't visible...as if this was all they wanted you to see. I wonder if they know each other, or if they just happened to appear at the same time. And you allowed a lot of the paper to be blank, so that the faces just 'appear' to us. (Ie, if you'd sketched the buildings and cars, the faces wouldn't have the same power.) You've always created very insightful work, Ana, and this is yet another example of it. .Great to see you post a few times in one season! Beautiful, haunting work. Feel free to post more anytime you can...the site needs your vision, insight and depth...

OOOHH!! What do I see here. Our Ana is Posting her brilliant Art. Ana dear, you made my day. You have a special artistic way of drawing portraits, that I love so much, because you have something, that I dont have. STYLE. Your own style... and I admire that. I recognize real art, when I see it, even though I have no particular style myself. Love these faces. Hope to see more from you, my dear. :)
