Description

Facade with the gate and bell tower We can clearly see on this view the difference in the equipment of the stones for these two parts. The bell tower (XIth century) is built with hammered stones, while the facade (XIIeme siécle) is built with massive cut stones. Façade avec le portail et clocher On voit bien sur cette vue la différence d'appareillage des pierres pour ces deux parties. Le clocher (XIeme siècle) est construit avec des pierres façonnées au marteau, alors que la façade (XIIeme siécle) est bâtie avec des pierres de taille massives. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200

La différence de construction est frappante entre clocher et façade, et on peut admirer sur celle-ci un tympan qui semble superbe, et une fenêtre ornementée de motifs en dents d'engrenage.......magnifique prise de vue de cette splendide et très vieille église, Jean-Claude !
