Cette mante religieuse accrochée à une cannisse nous montre son anatomie gracile, et l'ensemble, avec le contraste vert/gris, a un coté esthétique et assurément graphique.......magnifique prise de vue, Jean-Claude !

J'an avais photographié une en noir et blanc il y a 30 ans avec un objectif macro de chez macro! On ne voyait que la tête, une partie des pattes et du thorax. Avec mon labo perso j'avais fait un tirage grand format. C'était impressionnant!,

Super capture. Just like lady bugs, the mantis is an insect that is "man's friend." As a kid, I envisioned the mantis and walking sticks as little aliens :)

Wonderful photo of this praying mantis. I just had a cricket fly into my house and I had to catch it with a cup and set it free outside my back door. But oddly enough even though I had no light on in that room, it flew back in and I had to catch it a second time and release it again. Hopefully I didn't hurt its wings. Strange that it wanted to come in again lol.
