Description

OK - I'm going to bombard you with one more snow photo..... Despite the cold, a snowfall like this provides lots of fun things to photograph. Here's more proof that Mother Nature is indeed an artist with a flair for abstract sculptures. The snow has piled up on some small branches laying on the ground in my back yard. According to the latest weather map on Fox 4, we're almost out of the storm.. Hopefully we'll avoid any power outages - although there are several thousand in the KC area without power. If the weather isn't too nasty tomorrow, I might try and get a few aerial photos with one of the drones. Rod's Lair Facebook Twitter Girls From T.N.A. It's amazing how wind drifts the snow in formations with branches and other things. Cool shot my friend.

Dare I say it... Cool! We haven't had much snow this year in Southern Ontario - I just jinxed that. But it is now getting into the January cold spells we are famous for.

Great job, Rod. A beauty. Now, as you suggest, try some drone images. But try to avoid getting your foot prints all around in the snow. That would be a spoiler. Looking forward to your drone photos! But, the wind from the drones propellers may make more of a mess of the snow than a foot print :-) Keep up the good work! We've not had so much of this white dandruff stuff thus far. But February and March tend to pile it up in some areas. :-) By the way, the drone propellers may be effective in covering over a foot print. Who knows, if not tried!

like I say, your photography is always a treat no matter what, so you don't have to worry about posting snow shots. Love this big piece of snow salad, and how the snow stands upright before a breeze comes along and knocks it over...And all that white around it. Big blinding shot, it's a beauty Rod. I'll see if I can find a decent snow shot from the past...these are quite inspiring. And I hope you're all ok, and sorry people were without power. That's the real downside of snowstorms...
