Description

This is my previous upload, with color added...just to spruce up the season. I really am stepping down for a few weeks---I know I've said that for an eon now, but I really am! It's not a lie. It'll just be a few weeks...But you don't have to wish me a good break, 'cause you've already done it and you're probably ready to throw me out anyway. I understand! (I have to do more work, plus apt stuff. Ya ever notice that redecoration takes 20 years longer than it was supposed to? My blinds---which are falling apart---have taken out a mortgage. Also, why do cracks in walls turn into the Grand Canyon in 2 years time? I had a crack 6 years ago, it was tiny, it was cute...today it's a National Park. Plus, remember that toilet I put in last year? It had kids. I now have 14 toilets. Plus there's a fruit-fly in my breakfront who's been there since the Civil War, and he's writing his memoirs. This place needs work... I'll be watching regardless---stay healthy, everyone! See you all soon! Love and inspiration, mark (I still want to sign my name, Alexander Dmitryovich, or King Phillipe III of France, and his dog Pierre, but I haven't gotten up the nerve...) ------------------

I truly love the colours you have added to this photo; it gives the scene a surreal effect and makes it more mysterious and beautiful in a Twilite Zone sort of way. toilets are parthenogenesis in nature? Who knew! Take care and I and all of us look forward to hearing from you in the future.

WOOA!! it makes a big difference when you add colors. This made my eyes wandering around finding all the details, which the other actually didnt do. I saw a beautiful whole, but this made me go around and find branches, the fences and bricks and the flag. Sorry, but I love this the most :-)

Added attraction with those vivid colors my fruend. So enjoy the trick fx manips on your photography Mark. Always thrilling to view. Does have a twilight zone feel as Mike mentioned, or tales from the darkside.

I'm hoping the best for you my friend, sounds like your pad has needed attention. Wish I was in a better position to do things back. I so want to have my own place, Brian is such an a'hole, now I can't feed this little stray kitten any food in HIS YARD! Fark a duck he's such a jerk towards me.

I like this SOOOO much better than the other version. It has color and reminds me that winter is only temporary. Don't work too hard on all those projects. The cracks will come back no matter how well you patch them (I speak from experience). The little toilets will grow up and leave home eventually. Just give the fruit fly a name and his own banana and write him off as a tax deduction. Have fun, Mark!

I can't say which image I like better. the black and white one was so stark and strong and this is softer and easier on the eye, but gee, I like them both because they are so different. this one has an Alice In Wonderland feel to it and the woman seems to be looking for her colors.

take care and be well and don't work too hard. thanks for the visits to the back of the gallery, too, it's fun to see old stuff.

I have to echo GrandmaT in her assessment of the colorful newly embodied version of your high contrast Chicago snow scene, Mark. Love those deep colors strategically placed among the scene. It would make Rembrandt jealous. And the best of luck on your apartment renovation, a task I used to perform many moons ago. Now I have just enough energy to mop the floor. But a toilet that had little toilet offspring?

Those wonderful colors really give this a sense of movement and - dare I say it - pizazz. Yes, pizazz! I used to think that was a kind of pizza, but I digress.

Ar wants to know if all 14 of those toilets are 20 feet tall like the one she had to use last year... 🤣

Have a great break, buddy (see, I don't listen....I said it anyway. Just the kind of guy I am....😉) See you when you return, my friend!

Are you sure the dog of King Philip III of France was called Pierre, Mark? I'm quite sure it was Flic! Also for sure you lie to us with your idea to sigh as Philip III, because his nickname was "Bold", and are you bold, Mark? Too bold to clean your home maybe? Anyway what I like more on this coloured photo is the American flag, this "lets make your gallery great again"!!! 😅
