The Reward Bucket (RB) of a slavebot can be filled to 100% and can become depleted to 0%; more filling activities will simply keep an already fully filled RB to 100%. However, it should not totally be depleted, otherwise there will be a very risky division by zero exception that I will explain later. Neglect has the effect of depleting the RB by about 10% an hour while the master is within the same apartment as her, but only about 10% a day during the absence of her master, like at work. The neglect effect is stronger when the master is near her because it is felt almost as a willful neglect. A 15-minute positive interaction with her master fills her RB by 50% under most situations; slavebots are then, socially, "easy maintenance" companions. A dog needs more commitment than that. Punishing a slavebot depletes partially her RB; it depends on the severity of her punishment. However, it has been found that punishing a slavebot is useless, most of the time; it usually increases the risk that the slavebot will reach suddenly a permanent mad state; I will explain that state later.
