Description
I was testing a model I made in Hexagon--I still can't find the instructions for Hex. As I am hard of hearing, it doesn't work to well to use YouTube; I really need to find the pdf that I am pretty sure I have ..somewhere. But meantime I am learning just by "trying and failing." But this key exported fine from Hex, I was able to map it in UV Mapper, and it rendered in DS just fine.
The character is Pixeluna's gorgeous Psionne, in her normal human suit. :D I did make one change--I was having trouble with her rendering more slowly than the rest of the props in the image, so I just went to the root surface shader and turned her translucency way down. It makes her a bit more pale and chalky than normal, but she renders at the correct speed for my machine, and it was an easy fix. I like her morphs so much :D

Super cool!! I am still morning the loss of the original Hex manual. the narrators were French, so the little movies were especially charming!

She is, of course, gawjus! As all of Pixeluna's dahlies. Lovin' the key, though. I'm trying, (unsuccessfully) to model one myself to reboot an image I did ages ago with Vicky 3. Think I should maybe stick with sprockets...I did manage to model them at one point... But it would throw the image reboot all to hell. 😞 I should just leave modeling to the professionals, but where would be the fun in that? 😁

But when modelling it works, it's so much fun! Donnena sent me the manual and omg so many things are so much easier when you know what button to push :D And you know that any rubbish I make, you can have--this one is even mapped, though I don't think I would do a tight close-up on it. I will Zip it tomorrow and throw it in my locker with a link (obj format) posted here. <3

She looks amazing, I like the pale skin, but then I love goths. Hexagon isn't nice to anyone, even if you do know how to use it a lot of the time it wont do what you tell it to.

Here is the key: "Alice Key" There is an old mtl file in there that may be trash since I mapped the model in UV Mapper, but it's included just in case. There is a bump map for it as well. You can just import it to DS or Poser and manually apply the bump map and make it gold and shiny or old and rusty :D There is a planar UV map if you want to paint a new texture, also. And thanks everyone!

Great job on that key - and Psionne as well. I'd be really antsy about opening that door, though. Something on the other side of it is either very valuable or very dangerous.. Probably the latter..
