So sad that after John dying, his Father died at the Nursing Home where Cathy works at 4:30 this morning.
Sad, because I planned to go and visit Alan, once he'd settled after the funeral.
Lovely old man in his nineties.
Ah well, God Bless you Alan! You are with your Son again now!

A Lovely Image! You never know when you walk out the door in the morning if you will see your family or friends again. Always say good bye and "I love you" before you go and every time you speak on the phone. My grandmother only lasted a few months after two of her children died. I'm sorry you weren't able to see your friend's father before he decided to join his son.

She's quite a gal--looks as though she takes her work outs seriously :) The father's passing reminds me of the deaths of Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds...the father did live a long life, but perhaps he died of a broken heart (/).
