Description

now that I have that 2nd GPU installed, LuxRender actually runs without crashing. I like the skin renders within LuxRender, but the iRay surfaces for the leather are much more detailed. I saw an artist use Octane, and was in AWE to say the least -- I may try the free trial to see if it is worth purchasing. I remember back in the 90's when RayTracing first came out - renders were so detailed and looked awesome. Tim N.

Thank you! I have been trying my darndest to get my character's skin to look more realistic, and recently came across the SSS items which took a bit of finagling to get the settings to look decent. (glossy, subtexture, etc.)
