beautiful the way the center bud comes jutting into our space, while the others are in partial or full bokeh. (You know, "bokeh" is a silly word---with no offense to the Japanese, who invented it; but when someone says, "great bokeh!" there's always the chance they're gonna sound like a snob. But "great fuzziness" doesn't do it. And "I luuuuuuv your blurs" is positively insulting. So 'bokeh' it is...) Anyway, that center bud is a jewel-like center; and those dark greens in the background make a beautiful backdrop to these frozen icy plants in the foreground. I'm glad you're able to find beauty in winter; these are the diadems of the season...I hope all is well with you Barb, and I hope the winter hasn't slowed you up too much. It's always great to visit your work, and it was a treat to see your photography again. If you post anything while I"m still here, I'll get to it right away; otherwise I'll comment the next time I return (which is usually in a few weeks). I see everything the day it goes up regardless...
