Get chills just viewing, also only about 23 deg here.

Very delicate looking crystal work! Mother Nature working her magic! But sometimes comes at a very hefty price! Very nice capture!

If you can be there at just the right time, with just the right light, you can find something special...
We've had some freezing rain here too, mixed in with the snow and cold temps. Not good when ice builds up on the power lines. Many tree branches also become dangers, ah winter, what fun, lol...

Great capture of Mother Nature's handiwork...hope you experienced no damage from the storm.
As a kid, our house was situated within woodland, and once in the while we'd have ice storms. Even though these storms could be dangerous and destructive, if you catch the aftermath in the morning sun, it transports you into a glistening wonderland. Now I live in NYC, and I experience few, if any, ice storms--proximity to the ocean mitigates their occurrence.

..... when the sun hits at a certain angle, there are hundreds of little rainbows, signalling the dawn of a new day . Winter can be beautiful

Chilly scene. It's raining here, but not cold enough for a coat.

sweet glittery capture of ice covered branches and twigs, like glaze (like candy glaze). And I like how the branches reach out in to the air, with those tall trees in the background. If this is your grounds, it looks like you have some real space back there. And I really like the contrast between the glazed branches (so sharp) and the faded trees in the background. A real winter scene. It's nice to see your photography after so long! A real surprize!
