Description
in a local Chinese buffet. calling the food Chinese is not true as with most places in the US make food to please the locals. when I was on Evergreen airways (twice 2 trips to the Philippines) they served 2 meals and I had no earthly idea as to what it was and all I ate was the dessert. I asked the owner also if the food they sell looks anything like real Chinese food

Just ordered some boiled linseed oil to tidy up our Chinese coffee table! lol, There was a Chinese restaurant in Hoylake who used to treat his regular customers to REAL Chinese cuisine! Apparently a whole new experience! Nice shot Richard!

We had a really good 'Chinese' buffet just a couple blocks away, but the Health Dept. closed it down because they had mice running all over the place. Ugh...

Yeah, I"m sure that the Chinese food in China and surrounding areas is a lot different than what we get in the US. I'm only back for one comment this morning (in each gallery), and I had to choose this. You have to know, you got real clarity and light on this wild thing, as full view really has presence! And I can't tell if it's wood or stone or plastic of some kind: It has this funky light---not from your photography, but from the sculpture itself: It's almost slimy. But it emerges out of that glass case, and just shoots into the sky like a big oily animal. (Well, that's a dragon in there, I assume; so it's definitely alive.) Wild crazy piece, and a very strong capture. I hope the food wasn't as crazy as the sculpture!
