I looked up "petunia," and found that it comes for a root meaning "tobacco": It's apparently related to the tobacco plant. (You coulda fooled me!) You caught its brash trumpeting appearance, the way petunias can shout at you from the side of the road. And how it dominates the stuff around it. Strong contrasts between the deep purples and the light-light purples, and between ganglia-like-veins and more open surfaces. A pulsing flush-forward shot. (And you have some really sweet colors in the lower background, as if this is in front of a big bowl of candies...)
