Description
A daisy perchance, captured 3/18/19.
Update:
I checked it out and it is a Gazania, a tropical herbaceous plant of the daisy family. So thank you alsrendo for the information.

I'm no expert but I think it is a Gazania, though the spelling might not be right. :)

One day, Helle posted a Gazania, and I told her that name struck me as a name someone would make-up. I know this isn't made up, but the name sounds like someone made it up to sound "flower-smart". (My grandfather made up names when I was young, and convinced me they were real. So he could've easily made up a name like this.) Well, I know it's real; and what a burst of a flower shot: You got this big peppermint pattern, only in deep yellows and dark reds; it feels cinematic. And the criss cross of leaves behind it make a fine counterpoint to the 'star'. (It's a star in more way than one: It looks like a starburst.) You got the right crop---close enough to let the flower take over the shot---whoosh! A real beauty, like it's got light inside it. I've never seen such stripes like these before. The colors look like someone designed them...beautiful!
