At first, thank you for the nice comments, likes and favorites for my last Image : TFLWPT - Xanten.
It means a lot to me!
It would be a shitty thing if Ragnor would just go for it. He had lived five years for his revenge. Although he had some sympathy for the lion, his own life was more important to him.
Dominus came to him and said he had a bear there. Ragnor was about to break off when Dominus said he had just teased him with a bear.
Dominus once accompanied Charlemagne to his coronation in Rome. There he also learned a lot about gladiators. That's why Dominus gave him a wooden sword and the papers that meant his freedom.
A little later someone came, whom Ragnor absolutely did not expect. No one other than Rotrud visited him. She asked him to follow her, who wanted to talk to Ragnor urgently.

I like how you posed the lion. I guess Ragnor had no choice in the matter. It was either him or the lion. And it is great to see that he finally won his freedom ! You ended the story with an even more interesting twist. Who is she ?
