this is a gorgeous piece! what it does not show, however is a closeup of the image, which contains thousands and thousands of dots PER INCH that were all created by hand! Very impressive work, and shows an extreme level of dedication-

WOW!!!! I love pointillism. Fun but it takes a very long time, a small one I did took two weeks @ 5 hours a day. How long did this one take? Great piece, patience is a virtue. :)

Wow! I never expected such a response. Thank you, I really appreciate all the comments. I don't remember exactly how long it took to do this one, but I'm thinking a couple hundred hours. I should keep track because I always get asked.
