(I'm starting at the top, for a change!) This whole day's uploads has a theme---cracked and peeled surfaces. This is one of your delightfully wrecked street surfaces, with all those pock marks and deepening cracks. And it's really cool against the big long "STOP". It's kind of a command that went wrong---those cracks don't bolster the message of the word too well. (I wonder if the painters of these signs come by, a year later, and weep over what happened to their art!) Love the shot, and that you're bold enough to make the whole picture about it and it alone.
