Description

“That sounds delightful,” Myst replied with a coy smile. She had noticed Mykal’s furtive glances, finding his moral struggle amusing considering the previous night, when she presented herself to him to use for his pleasure in payment for the kindness and the aid he had given her, and that he had just suggested they bathe together. Hovering by the fire, she watched him turn a small metal wheel set atop a pipe that extended from the wall and bent downward above the large metal tub; a second later water began spewing from it. “What is that… some kind of magic?” she gasped as she rushed across the room to get a better look. Standing over the tub, wide-eyed with wonder, she tentatively reached her hand into the steadily flowing stream of water, finding it chilly, but totally normal. “It’s not magic. The water is drawn from the tree’s roots, pure and filtered through its natural system. Normally you’d fill the fire box below with coals from the hearth to heat the tub, and therefore the water,” he smirked knowingly, indicating a large metal tray that stood on short legs below the tub. “But we can do better than that,” reaching into his pouch, he took out the hearthstone he had used to light and heat the tent last night and dropped it into the water that had begun to fill the tub, commanding in elvish; “Hearthstone light of a candle, heat of a large camp fire.” Instantly the smooth grey stone about the size of her fist began to glow with a soft white light, projecting strange rippling patters on ceiling above, seemingly unaffected by being submerged. Reaching in to run her hand through the water that had accumulated in the tub, she could feel the heat it radiated, although it would clearly take some time to have sufficient effect. Looking up, she found him seated at the table, his eyes lingering hungrily on her legs and bottom, which was just barely cover by the hem of her chemise as she bent over the tub; so, she wiggled it provocatively to show that she had noticed his attention. Which drew a bashful smile from his lips, but he made no effort to look away. She still didn’t understand why he was helping her. It was clear that he was attracted to her; many other males had desired her before, but they just force themselves on her for their pleasure. However, they were drow… or their minions. He was decidedly different, not at all what she had expected from the peoples of the surface world; he didn’t seem to care about her tainted lineage at all. When the tub was half-full of softly steaming water, allowing plenty of rooms for both their bodies without overflowing, he rose and turned the small wheel shutting off the flow of water, then stepped aside, allowing her unimpeded access. Skimming her hand lightly over the water’s surface to test its temperature, she casually discarded her clothes, then accepted his hand to steady herself as she slowly stepped into the tub, being sure to give him a good long look at her lithesome form the whole time, before she sank below the soothing water. He couldn’t help but stare, even though he’d gotten more than an eyeful of her marvelously nubile body last night. He had known his share of beautiful woman, but there was something palatably sensual about the gorgeous half-drow that drew him to her like a moth to a flame. “Well are you going to stand there and stare… or are you going to join me?” she cooed with a capricious grin.
