Description

Just a quickie to let you know I'm still alive and kicking... Or alive, anyway... 😁 I've been doing some experimenting with a number of things, and researching a number of other things... All in preparation for Chapter 7 which will be coming your way in the near future. I still have a few pages to go in Chapter 6, and I hope to get those posted soon. I have written an all new backstory as a prologue for Chapter 7, and I'll be putting a trailer together as well. Stay tuned. I've started adding some of my Poser runtimes to the DAZ machine - and that's going to take some time.. I'll probably add a dedicated drive to the DAZ machine just for the Poser content. Having said that, I'll still be doing 95+ % of the T.N.A. renders in Poser Pro 2014 (not abandoning Poser anytime in this century..). I'm working with both PP2014 and PP-11. I have PP-11 installed on my Origin laptop (used to have DS 4.9 on it), and have been experimenting with it. I was finally able to get Vue 10 Complete migrated over to the dual-processor machine. It gave me some issues with the activation code since it's an older version of Vue, but the folks at E-On were really helpful in getting a new activation code, and it's working flawlessly so far. And in my continuing quest to drive myself (more) insane I'll probably be tackling the new version of Blender very soon. They're all tools in the toolbox, folks - to help me bring you the best I can create.. I went with my buddy Andy yesterday to see the Avengers Endgame movie... Wow! 3 hours of awesomeness (well except for a couple parts, but no spoilers..), and of course a SFX smorgasbord.. Then we stuffed ourselves at Bo-Ling's around the corner (the honey walnut chicken is absolutely to die for!). I know I've not been real active for a few weeks, but things are calming down a bit, and they aren't uncovering anymore dinosaur fossils in my backyard (sorry, Art... LOL), so maybe I can get things rolling again.. Anyway... This is Lissa - I just pulled the name out of the air - and she's the result of a little fiddling with FaceGen. The room is Tru-Form's "President's Office" freebie, with a few things retextured by me. For the lamp on the desk, I made the shade an emissive, and added a point light above it. The round rug on the floor is actually one of Richardphoto's roses he provided for us to use - thanks, Richard! Thanks for stopping by, and for all your awesome support and comments! Two questions for ya. Why is she in my office? And why wasn't she there when I was?

I bought FaceGen and I hate it! Mainly because it doesn't open! I used it once and when I tried to use it again (after going through the registration nonsense repeatedly), I gave up. Nice job here but I would tell everyone based on my personal experience to stay away from it. They're so busy trying to protect their app that they've made it unusable.

Love the composition around LIssa, and she looks formidable---she fills the space, making it clear that she owns this space, it doesn't own her. The outfit is out of a fashion show, and she looks at us with real power. Formidable. It looks almost like an Oval Office, like something very heavy-duty is going on here. I also like that you place her on a big rose figure on the floor. Her outfit has greens and a kind of mustard/olive yellow; great colors for this mainly brown and gold hued interior. And I love the light pouring in in the background too. If this lady isn't playing an important role in your stories, she should be: She's a powerful figure.

Re your recent dig, I hope your yard is recovered now, and that you're slowly recovering from the bill! Boy what a way to start the process of moving. Your recent life-transitions have come replete with major challenges. I hope your move will be alot less dramatic...you guys deserve that after everything you've been through...
