Description

Sainte Croix du Mont - Gironde - France Le château de Tastes, à l'origine du XIVe siècle, a été reconstruit entre XVe et XVIe siècle et très restauré au XIXe siècle. Dominant la vallée de la Garonne, il est devenu la mairie du village en 1972. The castle of Tastes, originally built in the 14th century, was rebuilt between the 15th and 16th centuries and was extensively restored in the 19th century. Dominating the Garonne valley, it became the town hall of the village in 1972.

I remember visiting the city of Lugo and how I was amazed at how the city was built within protective walls. I imagine these walls to be very much the same! Excellent photo!
