Description
“Deep Blue” is the latest of my illustrations. The idea behind it is rather simplistic in nature. I have always loved the ocean, although I have only seen it one time. When I had an opportunity to go down to West Palm Beach Florida, which was just after graduating college back in 1989. In “Deep Blue “I have let some of the majestic creatures of the sea tell thier story through my hand as I created it.
Furthermore, I believe that the ocean has great healing properties throughout its vast resources, and should be protected at all costs, Man’s survival depends on it. I look forward to the day when I can get back into the “Deep Blue “

Great work, Blackrider. I pray that somehow Humankind as a whole will stop taking the oceans for granted. That great swath of garbage that's floating in the Pacific is shameful.
