I'm not supposed to be online, but I just sent wishes to Rod (another flood) and I had to comment on at least one of your recent uploads...also to send wishes to Steve for his birthday...I love this, Barb, the acrobat in a circle and your way with abstraction---made of natural elements...love the woman's movements within the circle (she forms one, herself), her noble reaching upwards, being met by that beautiful bird whose reds and greens are picked up throughout the piece; the circled in the background (as harmony w/ the circle in front), and the abstractions everywhere, incl those lights on the right. I've seen enough of your old-to-recent work to know how well you handle abstraction, and with real ease (you're a natural with it, and with a kind of natural avant garde); and this is a prime example. This is also theatrical, because of the lights in the darkness (as if it were on stage); and you captured Steve's unique way with color---he's freaking dazzling---for his bday. Happy Birthday Steve, and many more! Wonderful dedi, Barb...I'll get to your recents soon. Love what you're doing here.
