I know of Jackalopes but Jackafae that's a new one on me, very cool...you are definitely my fav Mixed Medium artist, I started off in MM and found it harder and harder to find good free stock to work with, that's why I turned to Fracs Formulas are always free.

Lovely job on this beautiful scene with such interesting winged, antlered characters. Wonder what they would be called.

I'm with Lenord re mixed media; one, that I do it badly, and two, that you do it beautifully, and in your hands it always feels effortless. (I'm not saying it is---I'm sure there are many choices, etc---but you make it look that way.) I too wonder what these women are, ala Goldie: The antlers and wings make such a fascinating combination. The scene is paradise-like, I love the steps down to the water (I know it's a bridge, but it has these long steps), and I love the little baby birds with their parents. (Ducks or geese---I know I should know the difference, but even after photographing them for years, I still get them wrong sometimes. I think I'm gonna hear from some duck and geese groups.) And beautiful light on them, esp the chicks. And your background is like a rainforest after the rain...radiant, misty and lots of dissolving light. Mysterious, sensual and lush, and perfect for coming spring. (I don't know if you have spring yet---chicago's still cool, and I recall MA being cool until late May, from years ago. Hope you do.)
