Description

Hello Rendosians ! Today, I share with you this magnificent view of Barcelona and the famous Park Güell. The Park Güell is an artwork of Antoni Gaudi and is the outcome of a strong relationship between the architect and his patron Eusebi Güell. They both wanted to realize a quarter for rich catalan inhabitants with a new form of urbanism : the modernism .The construction site was huge nevertheless it worked well in the beginning. Alas, peoples didn't seemed interested in investing or building in the park because it was too far away from the downtown. The project had to stop in 1914 and the Park became the property of Barcelona in 1926. It is now a huge touristic attraction and is listed on the UNESCO world heritage sites since 1984. Quelque chose me fait dire que tu as aimé Barcelone (avec ou sans bourreau !!!) et les réalisations de Gaudi...que serait d'ailleurs Barcelone sans Gaudi ? Ta belle photo rend un bel hommage à la ville et à ces créateurs, de génie dans leur genre.

Bravo pour cette série de photos barcelonnaises, avec ce détour par le parc Güell qui laisse place à l'imagination humaine tournée vers la beauté toute en surprises. J'aime bien la perspective de cette photo qui fait porter la vue très loin dans cette ville qui foisonne d'imagination et de traditions, tout en vivant dans la modernité. Superbe photo, Virginie !
