Hi,
My name is Dean Etheridge and welcome to my bio.
I practice as a qualified engineering design professional, using high-end 3D modelling and manufacturing software. My product designs are specified globally on a wide variety of applications, including automotive, aerospace and other diverse high-technology applications.
I possess a solid grounding in the use of traditional media techniques, and my work naturally progressed to encompass advancements in the use of digital tools. From here, it was a small step to rediscover my love of more uniquely artistic themes.
My graphic style has always been strongly associated with reproducing realism as closely as possible, and probing the envelope of how this can be achieved across different sets of software packages.
I am honoured to have had my work selected for publication in several areas. These include the DAZ/deviantART ‘12 Months of 3D’ competition; ‘ImagineFX’ magazine; Ballistic Publishings’ ‘EXOTIQUE 2’ and 'EXOTIQUE 4' and '3DArtist' magazine.
My other interests are photography and travel. For the latter, I have been privileged to have travelled to, and explored many continents around the world. My favourite second home is SE Asia, and I am greatly influenced by both it’s people and culture.
I currently live in the UK with my wife and daughter who are both very special to me, and hugely supportive in my work.

Impressive!!! I'm surprised the restoration of the Vulcan doesn't eat up more of your time. . . then you just go home and whip out some beautiful art work! I salute you, from an artist and aviation buff!!!

Excellent work as always Dean and well done on your achievement. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the Vulcan as well, once it's restored. In fact, let's see some of the stages of the restoration as well.
