My previous comment, 29-11-02: Escher-like in concept, but in realisation something else entirely. I think you have the progression of tones (from drawing to solid) about right. Really beautiful work :-)
Now I'd just like to add: why does Meli think it's "smokin"? I'm metaphorically scratching my head here ;-)

I've had this image linked on my favorites for months, but only just realized I'd never left a comment on it! sheesh...!
This is just one masterwork of many from you, but definitely one of the best. There's something so direct and intense about this, plus the excellent lines, colors and overall balance. It speaks of art and it speaks of life. And it clearly speaks to many viewers.
