I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Excellent image and lighting! Sorry to hear about your tech issues (I understood about 10% of that, but got the point... its screwed up!).

Tablets are incredibly fussy. I have had far better luck with the cheapest ones than the "good" ones; the cheap ones seem sturdier and more able to go from program to program. But yes, sometimes you just need to change media for a while to get back into the fun part of it. This is a kickass image of the Lil'Patch girl!

Looks like you had fun playing with textures in this scene. Fantabulous work, Rod.8 hours of manager today and 8 hours tomorrow. Can we say fun? (not)

very dramatic alien bot and outstanding effects

The light on her cool face is done well. Her outfit is fabulous, she's the best dressed alien bot I've seen!
Good luck with the repairs!

a big open eye popping poster---I love the deep neon lighting, and that you placed this model in a big open court in front of a high rise (I assume)...deep night mystery, and we don't know what could happen...Her saber casts an unreal neon red over everything, and you've constructed and clothed her in great variety---even cowboy-looking boots with all kinds of medieval metal work! I can't imagine what it's like to do these kinds of images: She's so complex and strange and beautiful...
your print suits the hues of the piece (you and steve have a second sense for that), and you have fine print again---only this one (I think) is all movie names (I looked! I looked for some hidden references, puns, jokes, etc, but I think this is straight from the film...) Another fine poster from you. Love what you're doing with film images these days! (Good luck with the wacom/computer scene: Wacoms are sensitive beasts, and really, someone should sit them down and tell them to lighten up...I've been there, with the little fuss-budgets...I wish you all the best with it and everything else, Rod. The check from the sky is long overdue, you and Jo deserve your refund check very, very soon...)

Impressive work Rod. It's fun to let one's hair down and let the muse just go to work.
So sorry about your hardware problems. Mine are still vexing too. Part of the reason I"m posting a lot of photos right now.

Oh boy, looks like the bad streak is not letting go of you Rod. Not good. Fingers crossed that your luck will change soon. No one will be happy creating artwork with what you have been facing. And yet still, what you have created here is beautifully done. I like how you have done the lighting here specially the glow / bloom from the light sabre and the mysterious box. You continue to inspire me to take a deep dive into Photoshop. Wonderful work as always Rod ! And I hope the Cintiq can be fixed. It is an expensive investment.
