Description

I so highly appreciate your friendships, comments, likes and faves on my work. Thank you. Steve My world seems to be crumbling alot lately, so many worries, with my mom, car, job and phone issues. Been trying to post but my phone says low memory cannot upload, then a few minutes later it's working. My dear mother over the last three months has been feeling dizzy alot, she's had lots of blood tests hearing tests then finally a MRI last week, came back that she suffered from a stroke a few months ago. Has me worried highly, my car is breaking down and my job hours keep getting less. It's a PT job and normaly get 20 - 22 hrs a week which is perfect for keeping my medicaid benifits. But with the new stores they assigned me to I'm only getting 16 last week same week before, this week looks to be around 12 hrs. There is not enough bread in stockroom to get me those hours. I guess will need to seek a different pt job with no more then 22 ' 25 hours so I can keep my health benifits. My job also pays for gas mileage and on previous stores I did was getting pretty good gas allowance, now with my current stores to work at on days I work I drive about 30 miles but get paid for only 6 since you are not paid from house to my first store, they only pay gas allowance from store to store, and don't pay gas back to house from stores. 26 miles too and from stores twice a week, paid for 6 on my single shift day drive 12 miles get paid for 2. Bullchit!! Previously I was driving about 80 miles and getting paid for about 60 on my two day split shifts, my job is only a 3 day work week. Sun, wed, sat. Saturday being just 1 shift. Depression is very high right now. Thanks for reading if you did, and so sorry for thowing a violin on my situation. Just life I guess. On a 1 -10 scale my sadness/depression are at a 9.5/// Steve Credits : MDD Clarice by: Maddelirium Amusement by: Propschick Effa Hair by: SWAM Pyrago by: DM Attitude by: Kaleya Outfit by: Emma & Jordi ( NLA )

This character is super cool. Her eyes and lips are so neat. I love her tall hat with the roses. You do steampunk well!

Hang in there, Steve, life is a roller coaster and all you can do is hang on, it will even out eventually. Prayers for you and your Mom.

Stunning image, you never cease to impress and amaze me with your talent.

My heart, thoughts and prayers go with you. Though I'm sure you're familiar with the poem 'Footprints In The Sand', during the most trying times in my life, I repeat the poem in my head and take comfort in the last verse:

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."

Outstanding scene, Steve..Like how you've used Pyrago and Clarice looks so beautiful :)

Really sorry about your mom...getting old can be a bitch...but I think she's pretty tough :) As for your job situation--although some companies do pay commuting costs (which would be your gas cost), it is not a common practice. But you should certainly be reimbursed for the gas you use on the job. Sincerely hope things get straightened out for you soon and you can get out of this funky mood.

Beautiful work Steve. Sorry things are rough for you these days. 9.5 is dangerous and I hope you have someone close to talk with.

That gas allowance policy is not fair - when the first store is so far from home! I hope your current job improves or you can find something better - good luck Steve!

First let me say I'm sorry for all you current worries. I'm in a slightly better place than you and I hope things improve for and you find better employment and your mother's health. All the intricate details in this image show a lot going on which seems a reflection of how things are going for you. I'm no therapist or anything just my opinion. There's no getting over how good this piece looks.
