Yes, with rhol_figament, this is "shatter" art. You create natural contrast because the flying shards are flying over soft cottony "blurbs" of beautiful pastel-like colors. And you have a long diagonal from top-right to lower-left, which kind of unifies the whole thing. A very bright, uplifting 'explosion'. It isn't threatening at all...
