Description
Another Shakespearean one, returning to one of my favorite plays "The Tempest". I've previously done renders of Miranda, here we have her father, the magician and exiled duke Prospero, conjuring the storm that sets the scene for the events of the play and gives it its name...
I've used the same figure as for my "Emperor" tarot card; it has the right blend of secular/magic to it, just modded the outfit a little. There's a ton of different sets mashed into this image, but the main things are Luthbel's "Cobalt Heirophant" and Ravenhair's "Evilson" over on Daz, with the Optiplex "Fantasy Cloak" on top using my own mats. Arien's "Versailles Tail" for the hair. The setting is largely based on DM's "Secret Chamber". A shout out too to mostdigitalcreations' skull freebie, rendered here using the DS3 built in glass shader.
Not that you can actually tell, but the backdrop is a photo of a thunderstorm over the caldera of Santorini I took a few years ago, with additional lightning added in CS2.

Nice work on the scene. Well made. Mixing sets works well to achieve the look one is looking for. I do like to mix sets.
