Your sense of light in dark places is terrific. The dragon is in shadow, but the lights on him are illumined, like the lights on a high rise at night. The real light is behind him, not in front; and it illumines this fairy tale forest, making a magical setting for his bath. I love that he's bathing in a creek---no showers, just a creek---and his expression is kind of how dogs look when you bathe them (like, "you HAVE to be kidding!") His face is like a halloween lantern---love the lights in all that black. And a little fox back there, and lots of fireflies (or fairy dust), and an enchanted forest. Perfect. Man, how you get whole, organic images out of disparate parts---I'll never know...
