A render of my OC Korik, a Northern barbarian from the Forgotten Realms. He's from a small tribe of people that comes from the same racial stock as the Uthgardt barbarians but they never worshiped Uthgar. Instead they venerate a 'foreign' god, Kord, a god of strength. Actually 'worship' isn't quite correct. They have no priests of Kord. They believe that their god gives them everything they need to survive at birth; strength in both mind and body. There are no prayers but they do dedicate heroic acts and slain foes to Kord. Korik is considered one of Kord's blessed. In fact his name translates to 'Kord-like' in his native tongue (although it translates more closely to 'Black Wolf' in the Uthgardt dialect of Illuskan). He is a massive man, standing 6'4" and weighing 342 pounds. Even at the 'tender' age of 15 he stood taller and was more heavily muscled that most men from the South. He was very hot tempered as a youth and extremely arrogant and it caused him to be outlawed for manslaughter at only 16 years old when he killed two boys from a neighboring tribe in a fist fight over the affections of a girl. His father, a renowned swordsmith, used his influence to get Korik taken on as a scout for a southern caravan that visited once a season to purchase his bare sword blades. Korik traveled from one end of the Realms to the other during his long adventuring career and fought in many wars and battles before finally disappearing on a venture when his was well over 60.
