love the scent of fresh air in my clothes, in USA most people don't do that, they all are using a dryer for clothes...

Great photo! I also dry clothes on my balcony. A friend of mine wrote a fantasy book about it! Clothes escaped with the wind! Very nice book with beautiful artwork!

I hang some clothes under the patio cover to dry without bleeding the colors from the relentless sun. when I was a child, all of out clothes were dried on a clothes line

I'd love to dry my clothes outside: But I live in a high rise building, so I have no yard or lawn. And I don't have a balcony...But yes, clothes which have been dried outside have a heavenly scent---so different from clothes dried in a "dryer".
Your photo is a study in the patterns of fabric; and a study in focus and non-focus. Fascinating detail, with dramatic contrasts between the fabric and the dark background. Plus, that clothes pin looks like a gigantic insect: It's attacking the fabric, lol. A fine close-up with lots of variety in light, shadow and detail. More of your always-thoughtful photography.
