sunny morning outside in my garden, I used the shadow side to do the background very dark. snail still living there... :-)

Another of your very thoughtful, introspective studies of nature. The black shadow is deep; and it contrasts beautifully with that gold-amber shell. Plus you caught a lot of luminous detail in the shell, with some beautiful light. And you give a 'hint' of the snail itself: We see it, here, moving very slowly...A thoughtful private study of a beautiful creature. Very fine and delicate work, Priska.
