Description
Pencils, 2h-8b.
My favorite part is the over-the-eyebrow angle. It is a very unusual angle. Drawing my glasses from that angle was also lots of fun.
The composition was also tons of fun. For instance, the profile view is actually mirrored, so all views of my face are showing the same side. Essentially there is a line at approximately a 45 degree angle that goes through the same eye three times. There are a few more tricks of this sort too.
Choosing "portraits" or "surrealism" is a bit tough. I will pick "surrealism" because it is very far from being a traditional portrait.

Very interesting drawn! - The big eye always scares me when I see the picture. ;-)

Thanks. Looks like you are not the only one. I emailed this to my mother and she said it looked like I had been hacked to bits by Jack the Ripper. I guess this is much scarier than I had intended.

It’s all there, the angles and sections you chose to depict tell the story very well. Nicely done.

Thank you! I might have taken a good 40 photos or so before settling on the 6 that went together to make this. Some careful thought (and a fair amount of trial and error) went into it, and I am glad you appreciate it.
